Teachers To Leave
Positions at West
Two faculty members are leaving Maine West in the future: Mrs. Linda Sargis and Mrs. Barbara Rees.

Mrs. Sargis started teaching at Maine West in September of 1970. Since that time she has taught English I and devoted many extra hours working with the girls of the Pom Pon Squad on their routines and helping them earn money for new outfits.

Mrs. Sargis stated, "I will miss the girls of the Pom Pon Squad and my teacher friends the most out of all the enjoyable things that have happened to me. I am planning to return to my teaching of English I and sponsoring the squad in September."
Mrs. Rees is leaving because her husband is being transferred to Baltimore to be a merchandiser for Montgomery Ward.

When living in Baltimore she hopes to get another library job and listen to the kids talk.

Maine West students and faculty wish Mrs. Sargis a healthy baby and Mrs. Rees luck in her new home.
