This year there was a change made in the traditional M‑Club versus faculty basketball game. The format was changed to allow for two entertaining games in one evening.
In the first game here at Maine West, the West faculty was soundly defeated by a much more experienced and organized Maine South faculty team. The final score was 61-31, but the West faculty promises to make a much better showing at the rematch.

The scoring of Mr. Bob Goerne and the strength of Mr. Phil Kardasz under the basket highlighted the game. The fine shooting of the Maine South team kept the faculty from posing too much of a threat.
The M-Club game was close throughout most of the game, but the Maine West M-Club ended up on the losing end of the 36-27 final score.
The South team again had a taller team, but the steady scoring of Mike Kelley '75 and the aggressive play of Sean Dowd '75 kept the game close until the final quarter.
