Spiker's Finish Third in C.S.L.
The varsity volleyball team has placed third in its division of the Central Suburban League. The junior varsity team has earned the title of being co-champions of the Central Suburban League.
Both of the volleyball teams this year have had a tremendous season. The varsity team holds a near closing team record of three wins and two losses. The junior varsity has achieved its standing of four wins and one loss with the strong potential the girls have built up through the season.
Outstanding players in many games have been setters Nancy Parrotte '78, Pat Bauman '75, and Jane Stube '78, who has the highest serving percentage. Also included are Carolyn Miller '78 and Mickey Wainscott '78.
Other players on the team include Kathy Monohan '77, Nancy Habetler '77, Irene Weingartner '78, and Ann Arnold '78.
Coach Connie Bauman commented, "We had a successful season this year and we are looking forward to next year's competition."
Coach Royleen Tipton commented, "I think we gained a lot of experience this year and we should be tough next year."
