AFS Exchanges Students For Weekend
The American Field Service is sponsoring an exchange weekend beginning next Thursday. Foreign students from all over the northwestern suburbs will gather here at Maine West and at Maine South until Sunday afternoon, February 23.
About 30 students of different backgrounds and cultures will be divided between host families from the two schools. All families from Maine West and Maine South were invited to be host families for the weekend.

After spending Thursday night with a family from Maine West or Maine South, these students will visit classes Friday at the two schools - speaking about their homelands, their adopted country, and exhibiting their language to students studying that language.
They will spend Friday evening with their weekend hosts: dinner, perhaps an evening out, or whatever is decided upon by the student and family.
