Did you know the gymnastics club went to Algonquin Junior High and did a demonstration on January 23? The purpose of the demonstration was to get students interested in joining the club when they get to Maine West.
Did you know last Tuesday in Evanston four Maine West students qualified for the Office Occupation State Final contest in Springfield? The winners are Debbie Pauly '75, Laurie Peterson '75, Lynn Raupp '75, and Debra Novak '75.

Did you know on a recent Ski Club overnight trip, Maine West students and sponsors earned silver and bronze medals in slalom racing at Telemark Ski Resort. Mr. Tony Soucek and Mr. Roger Osborne, two of the chaperones, won silver medals with times of 26.9 and 28.5. Students winning silver medals were Mike Bowersox '75 (26.6), Pete Hajas '77 (28.4), Mary Doherty '75 (27.9), Kathy Bogner '77 (27.9), and Jim Tortorelli '75 (28.2). Those who received bronze medals were Elsa Pahnke '75 (29.8), Keith Duncan '77 (28.9), Doug Moeller '77 (29.6), Steve Johnson '76 (29.3), and Rick Stephanson '76 (30.5).
