Students Give Thanks To Teachers
Student Council had a Teacher Appreciation Day, Friday, February 21, for all the teachers, secretaries, cafeteria workers, and custodians.
The purpose was for the students to thank their teachers and the work staff for all the effort they have put in this year to further our educations.
The teachers and work staff received an apple and a carnation in their boxes Friday morning, and there were also bowls of candy located in the main office, the teachers' lounge, and in the cooks' and custodians' working areas.

Barbara De Pasquale '78 head of Teacher Appreciation Day, said, "This was my first year being the head of this project, and I hoped it turned out very well. The Service Committee put a lot of effort into it and helped me in many ways. I also hoped that Teacher Appreciation Day will go on to be tradition at Maine West."
