Gymnasts Show Well In Districts
The Central Suburban League gymnastic conference meet was held on Thursday, February 12, for the varsity level and February 15 for the sophomore level. The musclemen traveled to Niles North for the event and gave many fine performances.
High scorers for Maine West were Pat Dent '75 in the floor exercise, scoring a 7.7, and Neal Sosdian '75 on side horse, scoring a 7.8. The Warriors then traveled to Niles East for the district gymnastics meet.

High scorers for this meet were Neal Sosdian, scoring a 7.95 on side horse; Pat Dent in the floor exercise, scoring a 7.8; Rick Paulsen '75, on the still rings scoring a 7.65; and Mike Swiatek '75, with a 4.78 in the all‑around competition.
All of these gymnasts gave excellent performances and have qualified for the sectional meet to be held at Niles West High School today and tomorrow. The gymnasts at this meet may qualify for the final gymnastics meet to be held at Prospect High School.
