Vaccines a Must For Freshmen
It's that time, freshmen and some chosen few sophomores, juniors, and seniors, for those immunizations required by the Cook County Department of Health.

According to the State of Illinois the following immunizations are required in the ninth grade.

Polio - Immunization with trivalent live oral polio vaccine.

Dipthereia Tetanus - Booster before entrance to high school.

Measles (red or 10-day) - Immunized with live measles vaccine.

German Measles - Boys only.
The regular monthly clinic for this area is held the third Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Algonquin and Wolf Road in Des Plaines. The next clinic date is Oct. 16. Others include:

St. Paul Lutheran School, 10th Avenue and Lake Street, Melrose Park.

Rolling Meadows High School, 2901 Central Road, Roiling Meadows.

Oak Lawn Community High School, 94th and Northwest Highway, Oak Lawn.

Dr. Ralph Bunche School,
165th and Park Avenue, Markham.

Several Saturday clinics have been scheduled so that students may attend without missing school. For further information call the health department at 298‑5800.
