Golf Team Loses
Maine West's golf team was defeated in a close meet with Maine South, Sept. 17, by the score of 160-175. Top golfer for Maine West was George Seletos who golfed a 41; following close behind was Bill Bucher with 44 while Bill Aslan and Mike Pardini tied with a score of 45 each.
On Sept. 16 Maine West was defeated by Evanston with a score of 130-133. Top scorers were Allen Finch with a 36, and Mike Pardini with a 34. Bill Bucher golfed a 30 and George Seletos a 33. Maine West was defeated by Wheeling with a score of 156-173 on Sept. 15. Top scores were made by Dave Beedy with a 45, Bill Bucher 44, Mike Pardini and Scott Reed both with a score of 42.

All home games are held at the Golden Acres Country Club in Roselle. The next meet will be held Monday, Sept. 29, against Niles North at Golden Acres.
