Spring Vacation Brightens Quarter
Third Quarter Ends

The third grading period of the 1975-76 school year comes to an end today. The fourth quarter will begin on Apr. 5.

Vacation Begins

Spring vacation begins this afternoon at 3:27. Classes will resume on Monday, Apr. 5.

A.P. Testing

The $29 fee for the advanced placement testing must be paid by Mar. 29. The tests will be the week of May 17-20.

Science and Math Conference

Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry will be hosting a science and math conference on Apr. 1-4. Participating in the conference are winners of district science fairs held earlier this year. Admission to the science fair and museum is free.
S.A.T. Test Date

Students who have registered for the upcoming S.A.T. test should report to Maine West on Saturday morning, Apr. 3. Anyone who has not yet signed up and still wishes to take the S.A.T. test this year must register for the June 5 test by Apr. 30.

A.C.T. Registration and Test Date

Registration for the Apr. 10 A.C.T. test is now closed. All juniors who have not yet registered to take the A.C.T. test must sign up by May 17 in order to take the test on June 12. All state‑supported Illinois colleges and junior colleges require the A.C.T. for entrance. Information and registration forms are available in the Personnel Office.

Holiday Apr. 16

No school will be held on Friday, Apr. 16, Good Friday. School will resume after Easter on Monday, Apr. 19.
