Recently 77 girls were chosen as Junior Leaders for the 1976-77 school year. Every sophomore girl was eligible to apply for the program. The selection was on the basis of the ratings that the girls received by two senior leaders, two gym teachers, one academic teacher, and an activity sponsor.

Chosen are Michelle Bazan, Karen Benson, Cheryl Bergman, Pat Bianco, Cathy Bock, Rita Brock, Cathy Carstens, Julie Carver, Mary Copeland, Lisha D'Andrea, Twanika Davidson, Donna Deckrow, Emily Dent, Sandy Dolatowski, Mary Doroba, Yolitzma Garrido, Mary Gradl, Joanna Gutowski, Donna Guzzio, Kathy Hayes, Carol Hineman, Carol Himes, Corinna Karpiel, Belinda Keller, Mary Beth Kisslinger, and Pam Kisten.

Others selected are Carrie Konz, Julie Koren, Kathy Kramer, Sue Kraves, Carol Krueger, Ann Laughlin, Michelle LaVoie, Cindy Lee, Cathy Lefeber, Carrie Liberty, Barb Lofgren, Jean Lorenz, Carol Maney, Barb Marler, Peggy Martire, Cindy Mielke, Carolyn Miller, Linda Miller, Maureen Mukai, Mary Muldowney, Janet Neetz, Reggie Nero, Arm Nyberg, Sharon Owens, Cathy Plueger, Ann Quigley, and Teresa Rawn.

Still others chosen are Shawn Rea, Julie Reda, Alicia Roeder, Sharon Romin, Sandy Rose, Antoinette Russo, Patti Salmon, Nancy Sarlo, Carol Scheffner, Markay Scheuer, Chris Schlage, Laura Seitz, Sharon Serritella, Carrie Small, Jane Stube, Sue Sykora, Janice Teague, Mimi Tortorelli, Renee Tribolet, Amy Tuttle, Jane Wagner, Donna Watson, Irene Weingartner, and Sue Zuccarini.

These girls will go on to be Senior Leaders their senior year and assist the P.E. teachers in the regular gym classes.
