VOL. XVII, NO. 13
D.O., O.O. To Honor Employers
at Meals
The Diversified Occupations luncheon will be held at the Little Villa Restaurant this year. This is the first year for a luncheon. The past years have been banquets, but these banquets have become too expensive.
The luncheon will be May 25; it is an employee‑employer luncheon. All the students involved in D.O., will be at the luncheon. Each student will bring at least one employer.
Mr. William Gartke, D.O. sponsor, said they were expecting about 92 people. At the end of the luncheon each student will present his employer with a certificate of appreciation.
The Office Occupations luncheon will be held on May 24 at The Navarone Restaurant. Everyone involved in O.O. will be at this luncheon. They will each bring their employers. Opening the luncheon will be speakers and slides of training stations.
The class president of each employee will award their employers with certificates of appreciation. The D.O. and O.O. work programs have been helpful this year not only in training students but in helping the students get experience and practice in the various areas of interest. These luncheons are the time to show employers how helpful they have been.
