Caryn Hoffstedt To Study Abroad
Caryn Hoffstedt '77 will attend this summer's Alsatian Adventure Program in Strasbourg. She will spend the summer studying and traveling under the program which is sponsored by the American Institute for Foreign Study.
Caryn, who was chosen along with eight other students from the Maine Township High Schools, will study French at the University of Strasbourg for three weeks. Because of its ties with Germany and France, the people in this particular area speak both German and French.

Celebrating the French Independence Day, also called "Bastille Day" in France, will be another highlight of her trip. As well as experiencing new cultures and customs in France, she will travel to Lucerne, Switzerland; Heidelberg, Germany; London; Paris; sightsee the Vosger Mountains; and take a cruise on the Rhine River.
