This year's most valuable player on football is tail Scot Unger. Scot played tailback this year for the varsity team. He averaged six yards per carry and carried the ball 75 times this year.

Scot is recognized as one of the most outstanding runners in the conference.

Scot plans to attend Purdue University in Indiana next year.

Also so this year Scot was voted Athlete of the Year and the most valuable on the varsity track team. Scot qualified in the district meet in the 110‑yard dash, 220‑yard dash, and the quarter mile relay. He then went on to qualify for the state meet and competed in the state finals for Maine West in the quarter mile relay.
