This Fall V‑Show To, Bring Joy
The coming of fall means colored leaves, brisk breezes, autumn moons, and V‑Show 1975. This year's show entitled 'Joy to the World" is on its way.

Since early September preparations have been taking place: and thanks to a hard working staff and crew, Joy to the World" will be ready for production within a few weeks.

Under the leadership of student director Scott Peckenpaugh '76 everyone is working hard to meet their deadlines. Thom O'Donnell '76 is this year's stage manager and along with George Gatsis '76 who will work to keep things running smoothly on stage.

Back stage is student designer Mary Jo Zalabak '76 who is in charge of designing sets and costumes, while make‑up supervisor Mary Darling '77 designs the faces. Betsy Forkins '76 is in charge of props, and by working together the stage will be set and ready for opening night.

Tom Fischer '76 and Mark Davis '76 are this year's student music directors and will be working hand‑in‑hand with Carrie Mack '76, student choreographer, to combine and coordinate music with dance.

At the technical end is lighting chairman Mike Henson '78 and sound crew chairman Dick Lindberg '78. It is their jobs to let the faces be seen and the voices be heard.
Finally, after many long hours of work V‑Show is almost ready: and to make sure everyone knows about it publicity chairman Scott Jackson '76 and business manager Gayle Gyssler '77 will do the job.

"All technical phases of the show are working steadily to meet their deadlines," commented student designer Mary Jo Zalabak. "This year's V‑Show has new and fresh ideas satirizing everyday life: the show promises to be a success."

This year's show will include skits satirizing the Bicentennial, school, and everyday life, along with instrumentals, dance routines, and comedy skits. When asked what acts were the most outstanding, Scott Peckenpaugh replied, "All the acts are really good, and I hate to single out any one as the best: they should all be really good."

Joy to the World" will be performed Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 4 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 13, through Saturday, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Monday, Oct. 27, during all lunch periods and in. the bookstore. Tickets will also be sold at Spieglers and Allens. The price of the tickets will be $.50 for the Wednesday matinee, $1.50 for the Thursday performance and $2.00 for the other nights.
