Marching Band Seeks Support
Editorials seem to basically reflect the procedures best suited to increase the spirit of the school. But I would like to shed the light behind one of the most spirit‑promoting organizations in the school. This organization is the marching band.

Each home football game, rain or shine, sleet or snow, the marching band is there to entertain us. Despite some disinterest and lack of enthusiasm from some of the parents and students, the band portrays a beautiful talent along with high standards.

The shows are practiced from 2 to 3 weeks depending on the game spread. Willingness along with a gentle nudge by the outgoing directors, Mr. Paul Magnusson and Mr. Robert Kuite, combine the various formations into audience pleasing shows.
Most spectators at the football games expect to see the splendor of these shows which liven up the game. Unfortunately, though, we haven't received enough of this avid participation. If the band is expected to display at the peak of its ability, they need more appreciation.

The spirit of the school doesn't depend entirely on this organization, but almost 90 students seem to think the school is important enough to express themselves to others. This football season is almost at its end, but let's turn over a new leaf for next year.
