Students Suggest Changes
If you could be principal for a week, what changes would you make?
Scott Jackson 76 - I would make a "School Wide Scott Jackson Appreciation Week."
Jan Lambert '77 - Open Campus, air conditioning, and Mondays off, because it is the worst day.
Kim Gound '77 - Elevators for everyone.
Carol Kale '76 - I would put blue and gold shag carpeting in the cafeteria to promote school spirit.
Jill Bober '76- I would start a new club and call it the "S.L. Clickers."
Eric Johnson '76 - I'd fill the drinking fountains with beer instead of water.
Kevin Reiken '78 - Music during passing period.
Bonnie Moore '79- Come back with Pat and Todd on the intercorn.
Laurie Filus '77 - You would only have to go to the classes that you wanted to.
Beth Kostick '79 - All the girls get out of swimming.
Bob Aslan '77- Co-ed gym!
George Mandas '77 - No homeroom.
Roy Lundquist '77 - I'd let my 1-2a period chemistry class go on a field trip.
Kevin Martin '79 - A full period for lunch.
Steve Meyers '76 - Make the ceiling a bit higher and play Bozo's buckets at lunch time!
Jo Ann Mathis '78 - I would give five free cuts to the students.
Valerie Kruppa '79 - Being able to bring radios and televisions to your classes along with food!
Joanne Jeger '77‑I would fire the Music Department teachers for one week.
Bob Sadler '77 - I'd put a MacDonalds in the school cafeteria.
Ms. Mary Smitham - I would give each teacher only three classes and triple their present salary.
Nancy Drews '78 - I would let there be whoopy in the halls without interruptions.
Chet Philips '78- I'd chop off D-wing.
Ron Pascente '78 - I'd have school start later so that everyone could stay home and watch 'Ray Rayner."
Mike Menke '79 - I would order plenty of food so that the last lunches would have a decent selection,
Mr. Earl Swearingen - They wouldn't be printable.
Craig Beam '76 - It would be great to have a smokers lounge.
Gayle Gyssler '77- I would fix the microphone for the juke box and turn on the Coke machines.
