Exciting Things Happen Nearby
Plenty of exciting things are happening in the Chicago area during the rest of November and December, providing transportation and a little money can be found. From classical dance to popular music, Chicago is a great place to live near for exciting live entertainment.
For the more cultured (or those of us who are still kids at heart), the annual Nutcracker Ballet will be performed, opening Dec. 19 and running through Jan. 4 at the Arie Crown Theater. There are matinee and evening performances, and ticket prices range from $3.50 to $7.
Several interesting concerts are coming up in the next few months. Foghat and Black Oak Arkansas will appear at the Aragon Ballroom Nov. 28 - 30. Tickets are $6.50. Frank Zappa and the Mothers will appear at the Auditorium Theater Nov. 29-30, tickets running from $7.50 to $4.50.
For all Tommy freaks, The Who will perform Dec. 4 and 5 at Chicago Stadium: tickets are $9.50 to $7.50.
