The coaches of the volleyball teams look forward to a fantastic season due to experience and good teamwork. The teams' goal is to compete in the Illinois High School Association State Finals.

Tryouts for the girls' 1975-76 volleyball team were held on Nov. 3. Ninety girls tried out and a total of 30 girls made the teams.

The girls who made the varsity and junior varsity teams are Ann Arnold, Sue Bowersox, Jenny Bruns, Robin Downing, Evelyn Johnson, Karen Kiester, Barb Klein, Jane Krauser, Lee Ann Larocca, Sue Linke, Carolyn Miller, Arlene Mundt, Nancy Parrotte, Irene Polacek, Jane Stube, Mickey Wainscott, Nancy Webber, and Irene Weingartner. There is a total of 11 other girls who made the frosh‑soph team.

This year's varsity coach is Ms. Royleen Tipton.

The team's goal is to play in the IHSA State Finals, January 30 and 31, at Illinois State University. In order to go down state the team will have to win the districts, then the sectionals, and then the super sectionals for the finale. As Ms. Bauman put it, 'We've got a lot of returning members, and we anticipate a successful season."
