Christmas Formal Will Be
MW's Winter Wonderland
The Christmas Formal, "Nights in White Satin," will be held tomorrow, Dec. 20, in the auditorium from 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $4 per couple.
The colors for the dance are white, royal blue, and silver. Christmas scenes combined with decorations trimmed with snow should help to change the auditorium into a winter wonderland.
The Social Committee of Student Council has been working for the past two months preparing the dance. The committee was divided into four sections for efficiency, and each section has a chairman.
They are Cindy Lee '78, decorations; Laura Sietz '77, refreshments; Marge Lundquist '76, tickets and bids; Terry Sullivan '77 and Dawn Balut '78, court.
The entertainment will be provided by Strutter, which is the same band that played for the Girl's Choice Dance last year.
"All you guys get out there and get yourself a girl and enjoy the Christmas spirit at this year's Christmas Formal," commanded Jim Lofgren, Student Council president.
Other upcoming events in Student Council will be the annual Non-Smokers Week from January 12-16 during which everyone is encouraged to stop smoking and give non-smokers their rights too.
Also on the calendar will be the Secret Admirers Day when one can buy a corsage for that special male or female who is secretly admired.
