Gymnasts Hold 1-2 Record
Last week the varsity gymnasts took two on the chin as they were defeated by the New Trier West Cowboys and Maine South Hawks, but beat Highland Park. Pat Dent was the only Warrior collecting wins.

On Dec. 12 the Warriors traveled to Maine South and were downed 108.70 to 73.09. The team began to show some promise at South, and on Dec. 13 the musclemen whipped Highland Park 78.21 to 74.23. In both contests Dent showed good strength by achieving 8.33 in floor exercise on Friday and on Saturday had an average of 4.66.
Meanwhile on the sophomore level, Coach Gary Novak's group has been outstanding by winning all three contests by decisive victories. John Stefan, Jamie Rosner, and Todd Schuldt have been doing well early in the season. With a 3 and 0 record the sophs will try to keep their unbeaten streak alive against Niles North this Friday.

The varsity's record now stands at 1 and 2 with a 0 and 2 mark in the Central Suburban League's South division. Today is the last time to see the gymnasts before the new year at home.
