Keith West Wins 'Logo' Art Award
Keith West '76, first place; Susan Seidler '77, second place; Brian Berger '76, third place were selected as the winners out of all the students who competed in the 'logo' design contest for the upcoming Friendship Festival.
The Friendship Festival is a festival for all the industries in Des Plaines to give demonstrations to students in the area who are interested in certain industries. The Friendship Festival is sponsored by the Des Plaines

Chamber of Commerce and Industry. All three of the winners are enrolled in art this year.
The first place winner got a $50 savings bond; the second place winner got a $25 savings bond, and the third place winner got a $15 gift certificate.
When Keith was asked what his reactions were when he found out he had won, he replied, "It means a great deal to me because I feel that it is a great achievement."
