MW Will Host Presidential Primary
The Presidential primary polling election will be held in the foyer (lobby) of the Herman L. Rider Memorial Gymnasium. Des Plainesites of precincts 68, 95, and 126 can vote on Tuesday, Mar. 16.
For the past elections, the C‑wing gym floor has always been used. According to Assistant Principal Eldon Burk, the foyer will be used this year because it is easier to find and it's not in use during the school day as is the C‑wing gym floor.

There will be five election judges, both Democratic and Republican, running three voting booths from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Their names were submitted to the Cook County Election Board by their committeemen.
Maine West High School will also host the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 2, in the same place. Maine West was chosen as a polling place because it is convenient to most Des Plaines residents in this area.
