Don't You Hate When...
BY TERRI HOREJS

Don't you hate those days when. . .

in homeroom they have an ID.

check and you forgot yours.

you have a surprise test in every one of your classes.

you wore a dress and your slip showed all day and no one told you until ninth period.

taking a spelling test and you spell your own name wrong.

you're invited to a party and arrive the week before.

in driver's you're pressing on the gas pedal and the car won't move because you didn't take the emergency brake off.

doing a speech for one of your classes and you burp louder than ever before.

you remember tomorrow is your best friend's birthday and all you have is $.13.

you come home from school and find a list as long as you are tall of chores to do NOW!

you and all your friends plan to cut and meet at Doodles at one, and you're the only one there.

your dog really chewed up your homework and no one believes you.

you wasted all of PAR listening to the juke box and you remember you have a theme due in English next period.

you lose your lunch money and they're having pizza that day.

you lose your money in the telephone, the change machine, the candy machine, and the coke machine, all on the same day.

you have swimming in gym and there are no towels left.

you drop your plate during lunch and everyone begins to clap.

you cut for the first time and you get caught.

you are already late for your class and someone knocks all your books down the hall.

you're taking a test, and turn around to ask your friend the answer to number three and its the teacher behind you.

you finally hand in an assignment and find out you did the wrong one.

your ma finally makes your favorite lunch and you forget it.

you stay up all night studying for a test and the next day you find out the teacher was only kidding.

you're just about to leave the house for school and your brother tells you he set the clocks ahead one hour.

today is the last day to sign up for the field trip all your friends are going on and you lost your money.

you forgot your gym suit and you have to rent the one two sizes too big.

you wake up late and remember you had a 7:30 detention to serve.
