Stuart Nyberg, this year's Senior Class president, looks back on a memorable four years at Maine West.
Stu received awards in science, social science, history, and a Good Citizen Award and the SAR Award. Stu was active in Concert Band, cross country, Student Council, class council, intramurals, Concert Orchestra, and was a P.E. leader.
Stuart Nyberg plans on attending Indiana University and will be majoring in management and administration. Stu concluded by saying, "My fondest memory is the relationship that I have developed with God."

Gayle Grzebieniak, this year's vice‑president of the Senior Class, has had a busy four years at Maine West.
Gayle received two Science Awards and Home Economics Awards. She was on the A and B Honor Roll, the girls' gymnastics team, the tennis team, and was on Ski Club. Gayle was a cheerleader for three years and was elected to the National Honor Society.
Gayle plans on attending Lake Forest College and will be majoring in biology‑environmental studies. When asked what her fondest memories were, she said, "Getting to know so many great kids and teachers, getting involved in school activities, being a Junior Leader with Ms. Kenyon, freezing my feet off cheering at football and soccer games, and having a lot of good times to look back on.

Donna Soranno, this year's secretary of the Senior Class Council, was on the B‑Honor Roll, in class council, and in Tri‑S Donna also received awards in art and home economics.
Donna was a cheerleader for three years and was elected captain her senior year. She also received an individual trophy at camp this summer. Donna was in Orchesis, on the track team, and was a mat maid.
Donna is planning on attending Illinois State University and will be majoring in special education for the physically handicapped.

Tom Ross, this year's Senior Class Council treasurer, kept things alive. Tom was on the swim team for three years and received his numerals, shield, and letter. He was on the B‑Honor Roll and received an Art Award.
Tom said, "My fondest memories were of all the dances that I helped organize, expecially getting the white table cloths."
