Maine West presents its winter production on Feb. 25 and 26 at 8 p.m. The show entitled "Theatre West," consists of 3 one‑act plays.
Mr. Ron Mills, faculty director, says the reason for the one-act plays is due to the program being presented in L-101. Therefore, the technical problems must be kept simple. Also, this gives the actors the chance to do a Reader's Theatre production and a contest play and present them to the public before taking them into competition.
The show consists of "Stuffings." a comedy by James Pridauex, with a cast of Jeff Stine '78. Jeannie Zemaitis '77, and Dan Bakker '78. "The Murder of Lidice," directed by Mr. Robert Norris, stars Megan Peterson '77, Janice Johnson '80, Mary Gradl '78, Mary Me Mahon '78 Steve Pelinski '77. and Steve Burek '79. "The Ugly Duckling" has Shiela Wall '80. Ann Zemaitis '78, Dick Lindberg '78, Bruce Weaver '77, Paul Dombrowski '80, and John Jones '77.

Amy Sheetz '78 and Amy Tuttle '78 are this year's student directors for the show.
Other staff members have not yet been chosen. If you are interested in joining a crew, sign‑up sheets were up last Monday. Members of the advanced drama class are working on the show technically.
Since the show will be presented in L‑101, only 160 seats are available for each performance. All tickets will be sold in advance. They can be purchased at $2 per seat, from the bookstore, through the Thespian Society, or through cast members.
"If you are planning to see the show, you had better get your tickets early. With only 160 seats available there will not be any tickets available at the door," stated Mr. Mills. Tickets will go on sale Monday.
