Westerner Rates High

Each year the Quill and Scroll Society evaluates high school student publications from all over the United States. Maine West's bimonthly publication, the Westerner, received an international first place award for its achievements as a newspaper of

substantial achievements. Out of a possible 1,000 points Maine West received 820 Points. This is a commendable score, and members of last year's Westerner staff should be acknowledged for their accomplishments.
