For this issue I attempted to survey people. I surveyed people on whom they thought today's sex symbols were. I was referring to national sex symbols, such as movie stars or t.v. personalities, not local, as some thought.

The reason I say I attempted is because people either gave me weird looks or seemed embarrassed to answer. One person said, "There aren't any." I thought that things would be easy because some guys stick their tongues out like dogs when Farah Fawcett Majors' name is mentioned. But, when it comes into discussion, people can't explain their feelings. I don't know why this happens, but it does.

From the people I asked I received these answers. As far as the female sex symbols Charlie's Angels are on top with Farah Fawcett Majors and Jaclyn Smith leading. There were also votes for Ruth Busey and Pinky Tuscadero.

Most females consider John Travolta as today's male sex symbol. Starsky and Hutch were also popular. There were also votes for Michael Landon, 0. J. Simpson, and Steve Brolan, Dr. Kiley on Marcus Welby."

So, as of today, John Travolta and Farah Fawcett Majors are today's sex symbols.

In another happening in the world of sex, Larry Flint, the publisher of Hustler magazine, who was sentenced to jail, got the last laugh. It was reported that in 1976 the sales of the magazine went up tremendously.
