Aquiana To Present
'As Time Goes By'

The Maine West Aquiana Swim Club will present their annual synchronized swim show on Apr. 14, 15, and 16. This year's show is entitled "As Time Goes By," and the theme is music through the ages. The show will feature 15 acts using a collection of music from different time periods.

The show includes two solos. One solo, "Hot Pursuit," will be performed by Carolyn Matkovic '77. The other, "Mystic Lady," will feature Vickie Kadlec '78. "Minsky's Raid" is one of the many to be performed by some of the 30 girls in Aquiana. This year there is going to be a coed number entitled, "Superstar."

Besides several duets and trio numbers, some other acts to be performed include "Kountry Kapers,'' ''Easy Winners," "Oklahoma, " and "Beatlemania."

The girls have been practicing for the show since January. This year's directors are Ms. Peggy Carroll and Ms. Hope Needelman. Commenting on the show, Ms. Carroll stated, "The skill level of the girls has come a long way since September; the show is indicative of the work put into it."

The show starts at 8 p.m. in the pool at Maine West. Tickets will be sold by Aquiana members and at the door the nights of the show.
