Archers To Start Soon
The season for the 1977 girls' archery team began with their first two meets being rained out. The games on Sept. 16 at Hinsdale South and on Sept. 17, the Prospect Invitational, were victims of bad weather.
The archers have been practicing since Aug. 23 and are still looking forward to the first meet. This year's teams are being coached by Ms. Connie Bauman and her assistant, Mrs. Patterson.

The varsity consists of Yolitzma Garrido, Meg Gravesmill, Sharon Vaughn, Donna Pluciennik, Margie Hahn, Ann Vaccarello, Sue Schwingbeck, Mary O'Donell, Cindy Tomaszewski, and Holly Hamilton.
The junior varsity members are Merilyn Saurer, Marianne Gibson, Marlene Siese, Tracy Scheffel, Marg Frankhauser, Sally Clayton, Jan Nelson, Angie Duncan, Pam Kaeding, June Kaeding, Nadine Stietzel, and our AFS student, Desiree Wiegleb.
The archery teams next meet is on Sept. 27 against Glenbrook North here at Maine West.
