Cast Begins Rehearsals For
Annual Spring Play
Rehearsals have begun for this year's spring play, The Curious Savage. Students started rehearsing last Monday, Apr. 17, and will work until the performance dates on Thursday, May 25 through Saturday, May 27. This year's play, The Curious Savage, is a comedy. The plot revolves around the guests of "The Cloisters" which is an institution in Massachusetts.

The main character is Mrs. Savage, who is put in "The Cloisters" by her son who thinks she is crazy. However, Mrs. Savage turns out to be the only sane one there. It provides a humorous side to this part of life.
The cast for The Curious Savage includes Janice Johnson '80 as Mrs. Savage, Janice Teague '78 as Florence, Mary McMahon '78 as Fairy May, Fred Klee '80 as Hannibal, and Mark Halverson '80 as Jeffrey. Sheila Wall '80 will play Dr. Emmett, Scott Cazek '78 as Titus, Debbie Schumacher '78 as Lily Belle, Steve Burek '79 as Samuel, and Kathy Bashem '79 as Miss Wille.

Mr. Daryl Schultz, who will be directing the Spring Play again this year, is looking forward to a successful show.
