Next Year's Calendar Scheduled
The calendar for next year (1978-79) will be as follows: school starts for all students on Tuesday, Aug. 29. Freshmen will stay all day, and all other students will stay just for homeroom. The regularly scheduled one-nine period day starts for everyone on Aug. 30.
On Monday, Sept. 4, Labor Day will be observed, and school will not be in session.
School will also not be in session on Columbus Day, Oct. 9, and Thanksgiving, Nov. 23‑26.

For Chrismas vacation this year the last day of school will be Dec. 21, and the first day back will be Jan. 3, 1979.
Mar. 24 will be the last day of school for spring vacation, and Apr. 2 will be the first day back.
Memorial Day will be another holiday that will be observed, on May 30.
The end of the fourth quarter is June 8 and finals for everyone but seniors will be June 6, 7, and 8. It is anticipated that seniors will graduate on June 6, 1979.
