Senior Prom To Be Called
'Beginnings'
'Beginnings'
This year's Senior Prom is entitled "Beginnings" and is being held in the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Chicago. The Prom is on June 9, and the dance starts at 8:30 p.m. Music will be provided by the group, Windjammer, and refreshments will be served.
The Prom committee chairpersons are Mary Muldowney '78 and Sue Sykora '78, over‑all; Beckie Henkes '78, menu; Craig Hess '78 and Joanne Gutowski '78, bids; Elissa Kron '78, invitations; John Ball '78, band; and Wendy Dema '78, tickets.

'Beginnings,' the title of the Prom, means to start or to do first, which represents the start of a new life after graduation. This year's Prom is featuring an elegant sit down dinner at 11 p.m. where chicken kiev with a special dessert will be served.
Mr. Keith Robinson, faculty sponsor, said, "Keeping the tradition of always being first, the Class of '78, the Prom committee decided that this Prom would be the first to have a dinner after the dance." Tickets are $12 per couple. Many details are still being finalized.
