Softball Team Shows Hope
The girls' softball team finished their season with a 4 win-4 loss record. On May 9 the Warriors faced Glenbrook South and defeated them 13 to 9. This was their second conference win with three losses.
On May 4 the Warriors faced Glenbrook North. They were victorious by a score of 5 to 4. The winning pitcher was Sue Zuccarini. Outstanding hitters were Sue Sullivan and Annette Arnold. The team gave up only one error.

On May 16 the team faced a tough Maine East and defeated them 11 to 8. This game made them 4 and 2 in the conference. The winning pitcher was Karen Habetler. She gave up only three walks and six hits. Annette Arnold, Sue Sullivan, and Karen Habetler were all two for three. Annette Arnold hit a triple. This was Maine East's first loss.
Yesterday the team faced Maine South, to determine who advances to the Elk Grove Regionals.
