Memories of Maine West
BY DESIREE WIEGLEB
I have enjoyed very much my senior year at Maine West. It has been quite different from the school year I am used to in Sweden. What I have enjoyed the most and am going to miss a lot are all the sports I have been involved in. There are no activities after the school day in the small school I come from.
I will always remember all my American friends, and my friends who helped me and made my stay so great.
But I am more grateful to the Jordan family who have made so many things possible for me. I am sure that without them I would have had many difficulties fitting into the American society.
Also, thank you to the teachers who have had such patience with me and have been so understanding.
Thank you all very much! I am now looking forward to my next visit to the U.S.A.
