Graduation Is Just A Beginning
In less than a week the Class of 1978 will be graduating from Maine West. For the past four years the Class of '78 has been known for their spirit and leadership. This continued spirit and strong leadership has assisted in the strengthening of the ideals of our school. Involvement has also been the key to the success and the strength of the Class of '78.
Throughout the past four years we have learned a great deal about ourselves and others. We have grown along with the school, and we have changed as the school has changed.

Many of us have plans for the future whether they are attending a college or entering into the working world. May each and every one of us excel in all of our endeavors. As we look forward to graduation may we all keep in mind that we have played an important part in the growth of Maine West.
As we graduate next Wednesday let us carry our memories of high school with us as we march out with our diplomas. Let us all remember that graduating is "only just a beginning . . . only just a start."
