Sports Woman Chosen
Nancy Webber has been selected as this year's Sports Woman, all‑around outstanding girl athlete. Nancy has participated on the varsity badminton team for two undefeated seasons in dual competition. This year is the first year to choose all‑conference girls, and Nancy was selected for her participation in badminton and tennis. She advanced to the quarter finals in badminton districts but lost to the girl who won third place in the state competition.
Badminton isn't all Nancy excels in the sports field. She is also very active on the tennis team. She was captain of the team her junior and senior years and was voted most valuable player three years in a row. She was on the volleyball team her freshman and sophomore years and is actively involved in West Women Club.
