Cross Country
Morris Danielson has contributed the most to this year's cross country team. Morris has done outstandingly well in cross country all four years at Maine West. As a freshman he received a sophomore shield; as a sophomore he was given a varsity letter.
Morris has excelled in many areas other than cross country. Scholastically, he has been on the A‑honor roll all four years and has belonged to the National Honor Society for the past two years. Morris won a science award his freshman, sophomore, and senior years. He has also received a history award and has been a finalist in the American Legion Constitution Contest for the past two years. Morris has been an honorary member of the Des Plaines Historical Society for the past two years.
