Swimming
The most valuable swimmer on this year's varsity swim team is Randy Roel. Randy has been a hard working member of the swim team for all four of his years here at Maine West.
The swim team has not been the only thing that Randy has accomplished at Maine West. He has also been a member of the Brotherhood Society and the M-Club for two years.
This was the second straight year that Randy was the district champion for the 100‑yard backstroke. Other races that Randy excelled in were the 200‑yard medley relay and the 50‑yard free style. Qualifying for this year's state competition capped off a great year for Randy.
