Orchesis Starts Again
Orchesis' tryouts were held Thursday and Friday of last week. The clinics were held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. About 100 girls tried out for Orchesis, but only 45 were picked.
Orchesis performs sometimes for entertainment at basketball games. Their main project, however, is a show in January. They meet once a week where they practice or learn new dance numbers for their show.

Orchesis officers are Debbie Rutherford, president; Lynn Vanderhoof, vice-president; Heidi Goetschi, secretary; and Beth Kostick, treasurer. The sponsor is Miss Henle. Judges were the officers and sponsor.
The girls were judged on their dancing qualities, their appearance, style, technique, and rhythm. They danced to the song "Keep it Coming, Love" by K C and the Sunshine Band.
