Students To Dance 'Under the Big Top'
The Maine West annual Homecoming Dance this year will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. The theme for the dance is "Under the Big Top."

Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during all lunch periods and also in the bookstore for $4 per couple. There will definitely be no tickets sold at the door.

The Senior Class Council, under the direction of Patti Miller '78, has been planning the dance for several weeks. The band, "Penny Royal," is scheduled to play during the entire evening, providing entertainment for everyone.

Decorations, instructed by Mary Muldowney '78, a member of the Homecoming Committee, has been working on the production of colorful streamers and picturesque cages containing stuffed circus animals.
Pink lemonade, animal crackers, peanuts in their shells, and old-fashioned buttered popcorn will be served for refreshments.

Highlights of the evening's activities will be the official crowning of the Maine West Homecoming Queen and King of 1977. They, along with their courts, will share this moment with everyone present. The queen and king will reign at the dance. The dance will conclude the Homecoming events for this year.

About the dance, Patti Miller said, "Student Council has been so active this year. With their help Homecoming should be good. The dance is a grand finale of the Homecoming events and should be successful."
