AFS Sponsors Pizza Day
Pizzas are now on sale for the Annual A.F.S. Pizza Day, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5. They can be ordered from any of the A.F.S. International Club members or Mr. Don Smith in A205.
The members of the A.F.S. (American Field Service) International Club along with the adult members of A.F.S. will make the pizzas themselves. They will be 14‑inch pizzas, which are larger than a small pizza sold in restaurants.
The pizzas will be sold for $3.50 each or three for $10.

The money that is raised through Pizza Day will help continue the foreign exchange program, which brings students from other countries to Maine West and sends our students abroad.
Mr. Smith, faculty sponsor of the A.F.S. International Club, stated, "I think that most people would contribute money to such a program. Instead, we're offering a bargain - good pizza at a low price, to maintain the program."
