Maine West To Present Winter Play
Maine West presents its winter production on Feb. 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. The show is entitled "Other Places, Other Times," which consists of three one‑act plays and two comedy interludes.
Mr. Ronald Mills, faculty director, feels the three one‑act plays will be suitable for the showing off of the new facilities in the remodeled auditorium. This will be the first play presented since the new addition to the auditorium. Mr. Mills feels the "audience will be impressed" with the new facilities and the use of them with these plays.
The show consists of "Protest," a Japanese play. Also, there is "Mother Figure," an English play, and "To Burn a Witch," from the American Puritan era.
The cast includes Julie Stoneburner '78, Mary McMahon '78, Mark Halverson '80, and Kathy Bashem '79 for "Protest." For "Mother Figure" the cast is Doreen Sommers '79, Donna Vilkaitis '79, Dick Lindberg '78, and Jim Mix '79. In "To Burn a Witch" the cast consists of Maureen O'Malley '80, Judy Rompf '79, Janice Johnson '80, and Sheila Nelson '79.
