Christmas Shopping Rewarding
BY SUE MOLARO
As the holiday season nears you notice a slight overcrowding in the department stores. It seems right after Thanksgiving is the busiest Christmas shopping time of all. I guess people have to work off all the food they have eaten and shopping seems like a good way to do it.
Little kids love to go shopping with their moms and dads. They get to see all the new toys that have come out, and they get to eat candy canes as big as they are. The best time they have going shopping is seeing Santa Claus. Though they are excited when they are standing in line, when it's their turn to go up, their parents have to drag them, screaming and crying. When they finally start talking to Santa, however, they never want to stop.
After you've bought for everyone on your shopping list, you realize that you can't remember where you parked your car. Getting out of the store is another big problem. When you finally get out of the store and find your car (which took 45 minutes to park), you know that all of these things happening to you are just more of the pleasures of Christmas shopping.
But when Christmas Day finally arrives and you see how happy everyone is with his presents, you realize that your miserable day of shopping has paid off.
