3 Winter Plays To Be Presented
Maine West will present its winter production, "Other Places, Other Times," on Feb. 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. The show will be held in the remodeled auditorium.

The production will consist of three one‑act plays and two comedy interludes. Mr. Ronald Mills, faculty director, said that the three one‑act plays will show off the new stage area. This production will be the first in the new auditorium. Tours will be given to the audience of the backstage area after each performance, and Mr. Mills feels that the audience will be impressed with the new facilities.

The show will consist of "Protest," a Japanese play; "Mother Figure," an English play; and "To Burn a Witch," an American Puritan era play.
The cast includes Julie Stoneburner '78, Mary McMahon '78, Kathy Bashem '79, and Mark Halverson '80 for "Protest." For "Mother Figure" the cast is Doreen Sommers '79, Donna Vilkaitis '79, Dick Lindberg '78, and Jimmy Mix '79. In "To Burn a Witch'' the cast includes Maureen O'Malley '80, Judy Rompf '79, Janice Johnson '80, and Sheila Nelson '79. The comedy interludes are ''The Raft" starring Jeffrey Stine '79 and Ann Zemaitis '78, and "Watt Street" with Jeffrey Stine and Fred Klee '80.

The cost of the tickets for this year's winter play, "Other Places, Other Times," is $2 a seat. Tickets are on sale in the bookstore.
