Winter Play Production
This year's winter play production "Other Places, Other Times," will be held Feb. 24 and 25, at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. The production will consist of three one‑act plays and two comedy interludes. The plays are "Protest," a Japanese play; "Mother Figure," an English play; and "To Burn a Witch," an American Puritan era play. Mr. Ronald Mills, faculty director, said that he feels that the audience will be impressed because the plays will show off the new state area.

Class of '82 Orientation

Incoming freshmen and their parents are invited to an important orientation meeting at Maine West on Feb. 21. For those students attending Algonquin, Immanuel Lutheran, St. Mary's, and St. Zachary Junior Highs, the meeting was held last night at 8 p.m. Mr. Wayne Rosenquist, guidance director, commented that "this is the most significant meeting for the parents and students because many of the children's attitudes will come out of this orientation meeting."
Financial Aid

Seniors are urged to see Mr. James Killam in the personnel office for monetary aid for college; The Illinois State Monetary Award, financial aid form, and family financial statement. Mr. Killam feels that "this is a crucial time to apply for aid because later the colleges will run out of money."

January Graduates

This year 109 students completed the requirements for graduation mid‑year. Commencement Exercises were held in the auditorium. Ten students elected to march with 650 graduates in June.
