Girls' Basketball Begins Season
The girls' varsity basketball team is off to a slow start this year losing all of their games.

The Warriors lost against Maine East. High scorer for the Warriors in that game was Debbie Mienke, with 16 points. The cagers also were defeated by Waukegan East, Glenbrook North, Niles West, and arch rivals Maine South.

The Warriors hold a 0-12 overall record and are hoping to improve their record in the remaining games against Glenbrook North, Niles West, Maine South, and Glenbrook South.
This is the most important part of the season for the Warriors because the district competition starts at the end of the season.

The Warriors were defeated by a strong team. They also lost to Waukegan East, Niles West, Maine South, and lost a very close game to Glenbrook North. Scores for the junior varsity games were not available at this time.

The junior varsity team is looking forward to the remaining games against Glenbrook North, Niles West, Maine South, and Glenbrook South.
