Make Use of the Library |

| All the knowledge accumulated in more than 2,000 years of observation and study is contained in books. Without books, education as we know it would be virtually impossible. Without education, the standard of living would never have left the Middle Ages. The variety of subjects contained in books is almost endless - biographies, poetry, humor, history, science, and many others. Books have been written on almost every subject imaginable, and there are even volumes listing important events, people, and places, such as Who's Who, or Information Please Almanac. |
Maine West's library provides these, and many other books for the convenience of students who wish to do assigned reference work, or merely increase their knowledge. In addition to serious works, the library also contains novels and light fiction for students to read between homework and football practice. It is now possible for any student to take advantage of the services the library has to offer. The library staff invites all to drop in, look over, and use the facilities provided for the benefit of the students. |
