Notorious Gerry Hunted!
Violins and cellos are tuned for the final time. The concert orchestra is ready to perform save the fact the first chair clarinet player hasn't arrived. Where could this tall, dark haired musician possibly be? The hunt begins for Gerry Stanowicki.

Being the time of year it is, Gerry is probably fulfilling his many duties as student music director for the variety show. This honor(?) has been bestowed upon Gerry for two consecutive years.

If by some miracle he has torn himself away from V-show practice, there is a chance he may be found presiding over a Tri-M meeting, (Gerry was also elected vice-president of the Illinois State Modern Music Masters) or deeply involved with Russian club of which he is also president.

Still can't find him? Look in on a Westwords meeting. Gerry may stop in to drop off one of his many stories for this year's publication. In the past he has been on the Linguist staff.

Since you haven't found Gerry yet, I'll reveal some of the things he confided when he was finally tracked down.

In his spare time (that's rather ironic!) Gerry likes to play tennis and swim. He has been a member of Maine's swimming team.

He has only one pet peeve, and he explains it when he exclaims, "My list of pet peeves is composed of people who know my middle name!"

If you still want to know more about Gerry, he may be doing some of that hard studying that has won him Russian honors and kept him on the honor roll. He could be leading the Pep band, or playing piano for the dance band or Rhythm Kings, or practicing for a performance with the concert band.
