Win 3 Crowns |

| Three basketball titles were won by West's junior-varsity, sophomore, and freshman basketball squads. All three squads held sole possession of the Interim League crowns. Coach Gene Zuccarini's jay-vees swept the championship with a 10-2 Interim record, plus one unofficial league win over West Leyden. |
The sophomore quintet went to an undefeated Interim season with a win over Prospect, 49-46, for their eighth straight victory. Coach Walt Hommerding is the soph mentor. West's frosh, under Coach Bob Schmidt, snatched the title with an 8-0 record. The freshmen dumped Prospect's Knights, 50-45, in play last weekend, for undisputed possession of the crown. |
